Redefine Child Abuse

Hi,

My name is Julia and I am currently a Freshman at University of Maryland. I am taking a course called English 101 and throughout the semester I have researched the topic of child abuse. I found that the current definition is outdated and needs to become more modernized. Child maltreatment does not have to physical, it can be in the forms of pressure and neglect. I have gathered that many parents have different parenting styles resulting in children behaving in different ways. This website will give you insight into why we need to redefine child abuse and the personal stories that come with it.
